We require all homes to be pre-approved before placing either a baby or rescue in it. We may require a home check, vet
check and several personal references. We love each and every rat we care for and we are their voice to place them in their
forever home.
We require Rats to be adopted in same sex pairs, unless the home already has a pet Rat(s). We have a adoption agreement
that we make each and every home sign that states the pet rat(s) will not be used for food, breeding, and will be returned
to the rattery if the owner can no longer, doesn't, want to take care of the pet.
Only a limited few will be placed in show/breeding homes, these rats will also have a limited breeding contract. This
contract states that all breedings of the rat will be record with Starlight Rattery, breeding will be pre-approved my Starlight
Rattery, and that if the contract is broken the rat will be returned to Starlight Rattery.
